Dr. Kaliolla S. Ahmetzhan — Leading Researcher at the Margulan Institute of Archaeology, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Expert in the history of weapons and military art of Kazakhs and nomads in general, as well as in the history of traditional art. Author of more than 100 articles and six monographs on this topic.

Dr. Makka S.-G. Albogachieva — Head of the Caucasus Department of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). Specialist in the history and ethnography of the peoples of the Caucasus. Author of the series of monographs in the field.

Dr. Igor A. Alimov — Head of the Department of East and Southwest Asia of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). Specialist in Far Eastern ethno–cultural texts. Author of the series of monographs in the field.

Dr. Nurlan A. Atygayev — Associate Professor, Senior Research Fellow at the Eurasian Research Institute of the Khoja Ahmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University; Head of the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of Kazakhstan at Abai KNPU, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Prof. Aiman Al-Garrallah — Professor in English Literature at Al-Hussein bin Talal University. He has served as the Dean of Arts and Sciences and the Head of the Department of English Language and Translation at Amman Arab University; and as the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, the Dean of Educational Sciences at Isra University. Author of about twenty peer-reviewed papers, and two translated monographs. His research interests inter alia include English poetry, literary translation, comparative literary studies, manuscript studies, and media discourse analysis.

Tatiana Krupa — an archaeologist and a restorer, Head of “Umai” International Research Laboratory at Margulan University, Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. Her research interests encompass the Great Silk Road, the investigation and preservation of archaeological textiles, and the ancient and medieval history of Central Asia.

Dr. Anna Yu. Kudriavtceva — Senior Researcher of the International Centre for Islamic Studies, Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). Specialist in Qur’anic and Islamic studies, the Qur’an and pre-Islamic poetry, Muslim ritual.

Prof. Dr. Efim A. Rezvan — Editor-in-Chief, Manuscripta Orientalia, International Journal for Oriental Manuscripts Research, Director, International Centre for Islamic Studies, Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg); Professor of UNESCO Chair in Comparative Studies of Spiritual Traditions, their Specific Cultures and Interreligious Dialogue, Russian Scientific Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage named after D. Likhachev.

Dr. Maryam E. Rezvan — Head of the Department of Central Asia Ethnography of Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg), specialist in the Qur’anic studies and Islamic magic, author of a monograph and a series of articles in the field.

Dr. Vladimir A. Rozov — PhD (Philology), Assistant professor, Chair of Arabic Philology, St. Petersburg State University. Specialist in the field of the Qur’anic studies and Arab-Islamic occult sciences, author of a number of articles and translations of the original texts.

Dr. Inga V. Stasevich — Senior Research Fellow, Department of Central Asia, Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera) Russian Academy of Sciences. The main area of scientific interests is the ethnography of Central Asia's peoples, the study of traditional material and spiritual culture, the regional specifics of Central Asian Islam.

Dr. Omir O. Tuyakbayev — Researcher at the Research Center “Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage” at Al‑Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. A specialist in Turkic and Islamic studies.

Dr. Olga M. Yastrebova — Senior Researcher of the Manuscript Department, National Library of Russia; Associate Professor of the Department of Iranian Philology of the Faculty of Asian and African Studies, St. Petersburg State University. Specialist in classical Persian literature, Islamic palaeography and codicology.

Manuscripts must be written in English.

Manuscripts must be clearly typewritten with numbered pages. The title should be as brief and informative as possible. The institution at which the work has been done should be indicated at the head of each paper. Authors are requested to include their e-mail address if one is available.
