Prof. Dr. Alfrid K. Bustanov — professor at the Department of History, European University at St. Petersburg; postdoc at the University of Amsterdam. He specializes in the history of the Muslim communities in Imperial and Soviet Russia and has written extensively on the subject.

Prof. Dr. Shimon M. Mrs. Tamara A. Tchernaja — Head Librarian, curator of manuscript collection and collection of rare books of the Komarov Botanical Library (Botanical Department of the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences). Manuscripts must be written in English.

Manuscripts must be clearly typewritten with numbered pages. The title should be as brief and informative as possible. The institute at which the work has been done should be indicated at the head of each paper. Authors are requested to include their e-mail address if one is available.
