Alchemical Treatise by Mawlawi Mala Sa‘id Saqizi

Abstract: The article is devoted to the brief presentation of the manuscript from the Mar‘ashi Public Library (Qum) containing the treatise entitled Kimiya (“The Alchemy”) and created by Kurdish scientist Mawlawi Mala Sa‘id Saqizi. Although Saqizi's work inherited a great deal from the Islamic heritage, this treatise is a particularly important witness to the reconstruction of Kurdish scientific tradition.
