To the History of the Study of Kazakh Folk Epic (Academician A. S. Orlov in Borovoe: 1941—1944)

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of Alexander Orlov input to the study of Kazakh folk epic done in between 1941 and 1944 during his stay in Kazakhstan. It is based on research of the complex of little known documents related to the life and work of a distinguished group of scientists who were evacuated to Borovoe during the Second World War. Today the documents are stored in the archives of the “Borovoe” resort. |
