Dr. David Brophy — Postdoctoral Fellow, Australian Centre on China in the World, The Australian National University, scholar of the modern history of Chinese Turkistan and the Uyghurs

Dr. Alessandro Gori — Department of Linguistics, University of Florence (Italy). Specialist in Arabic Islamic literature of the Horn of Africa. Author of a series of articles and monographs in this field.

Dr. Prof. Elena V. Ivanova  for many years Head of the Department of Ethnography of Eastern and South Eastern Asia of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences, specialist in different aspects of material and spiritual culture of the peoples of South‑Eastern Asia and primarily Thailand, author of the series of monographs in the field.

Dr. Maryam E. Rezvan — Head of the Department of Central Asia Ethnography of Peter the Great Museum of Anthro­pology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera), Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg), specialist in the Qur’ānic studies and Islamic magic, author of a monograph and series of articles in the field.

Dr. Geoffrey Roper — a bibliographical and editorial consultant and book historian. Head of the Islamic Bibliography Unit at Cambridge University Library, 1982—2003, and editor of Index Islamicus and of the World Survey of Islamic Manuscripts. He was an Associate Editor of the Oxford Companion to the Book (2010), and is the author of several articles on the Arabic printed book. 

Dr. Safarali H. Shomakhmadov — researcher of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, Russian Academy of Sciences, specialist in Central Asian Buddhist manuscripts.

Dr. Mikhail N. Suvorov — Docent at the Department of Arabic Philology, Faculty of Oriental and African studies, St. Petersburg State University, specialist in Arabic literature and folklore, author of articles and monographs in the field.

Mrs. Natalia N. Vlasova — assistant Lecturer of the Department of Chinese Philology of the Faculty of Oriental and African Studies (Saint-Petersburg State University), MA. Research interests — cultural studies, magic as a phenomenon of literature, Chinese mantic arts.

Manuscripts must be written in English.

Manuscripts must be clearly typewritten with numbered pages, double linespacing and wide margins throughout. The ti­tle should be as brief and informative as possible. The institute at which the work has been done should be indicated at the head of each paper. Authors are requested to include their e‑mail address if one is available.
